Returning to Bangkok after 1 year

I flew from Beijing to Bangkok on December 21st Friday 2007 by TG 615 flight. After arriving at Bangkok, I visited the highest building in Bangkok. It is higher than Landmark Tower in Yokohama, Japan. At the top floor, there is a lounge restaurant. It is surprising that we can go out of the window at the 65th floor. The night scenery from the 65th floor was nice. I stayed at DUSIT THANI Hotel close to Chulalongkorn University Hospital.

December 22 Saturday 2007

I held the 1st Asian TRI Seminar with Dr. Wasan in Chulalongkorn University Hospital. The meeting was held in the auditorium of the hospital. We invited almost 25 relatively young physicians from south-east Asian countries to teach how to start TRI. The seminar included live case demonstrations and lectures. We had 6 live case transmissions from the catheter laboratory of the hospital.

The meeting was still immature but successful. I am planning to have this kind of meeting every year in one of the Asian countries.

Tomorrow morning, I left for Indonesia.

1年ぶりのバンコク

2007年12月21日金曜日にTG 615便で北京からバンコクに入りました。バンコク到 着後、バンコクで一番高いビルに行きました。このビルは横浜ランドマークよりも高いの です。頂上にはラウンジ・レストランがあり、驚くべきことに65階のそこでは窓の外に出 ることができます。65階から見る夜景は綺麗でした。チュラロンコン大学病院の近くの DUSIT HHANIホテルに宿泊しました。

チュラロンコン大学病院のWasan先生と一緒に第一回アジアTRIセミナーを開催し ました。会は病院の講堂で開きました。東南アジア各国から25名ぐらいの若い医師を招待 し、どのようにTRIを開始するかを教えました。セミナーでは6例のライブデモンストレ ーションと、講義がありました。ライブデモンストレーションは病院のカテ室から行いま した。

セミナーはまだ未熟なものでしたが成功でした。毎年アジアのどこかの国でこのような セミナーを開催していくつもりです。

翌朝私はインドネシアに飛びました。
